Becky Blanton

Becky Blanton is a journalist, photographer, ghostwriter, and speaker. The late Tim Russert credits her essay “The Monster”, for his decision to include a chapter on forgiveness in his best selling book, Wisdom of Our Fathers, Letters from Daughters and Sons. She spoke at TED Global in 2009 about her experience of being homeless for a year and living in her van with her Rottweiler and cat. She is currently back in her van, traveling and writing about the homeless who are or have moved back off of the street. She also blogs for Change.org, and is working on her book Staying Hungry, about what it takes to move out of homelessness and back into life.
