Nancy Silcox
Calling herself a "late bloomer", Nancy Silcox, a former secondary school teacher and university counsellor didn't start writing professionally until her mid-40s. Since then she's made up for lost time! She wrote a column on education for 15 years for The Record, and is a regular contributor to several lifestyle magazines, including Grand, Most, and Arabella Design Magazine. Nancy is the author of four books including, Food That Really Schmecks about legend Edna Staebler. Nancy's writing passions cover history, biography, and Canadian art. She believes fully that everyone has a story just waiting to be told.
